New phone system and webchat coming in February
The Greater Vancouver REALTORS® (GVR) team has been working hard on our Service Re-Imagined initiative – a collection of modernizations and process improvements aimed at delivering better service to you.
We’re delivering a wide variety of service upgrades and new features in the coming weeks.
Here’s the highlights of what’s coming.
AI-assisted phone routing to get the best expertise
While all our Member Engagement Centre specialists can help you with most of your inquiries, sometimes you need help from a staff member with particular expertise.
That’s why we’ve been testing a new phone system that leverages an AI natural language model designed to listen to everyday language to route your call to the right rep for the job.
This system doesn’t replace human connection, it enhances it, getting you the right person on the first call without unnecessary transfers or hold time.
What you need to know: Starting February 5, when you call into GVR at 604-730-3000, all you need to do is tell our AI assistant why you’re calling and it will route you directly to the right person to help you. No need to listen to menu items, press buttons, or learn specific phrases.
Webchat support for help on the go
Sometimes phone calls aren’t possible, and you may need a faster response than email can provide.
That’s why we’re launching a new webchat service baked into our member website at member.gvrealtors.ca.
This chat service will allow you to connect with Member Engagement Centre reps online through your mobile device or desktop. Any non-account related question you need to contact us for that doesn’t require verification can be resolved through this webchat. We plan on expanding this service to include all items you’d need to contact us for in the future.
What you need to know: Starting in early February, when you log into our member site at member.gvrealtors.ca during GVR’s office hours, you’ll find the option to start a “New Chat” at the bottom of the screen. If you select that option, a new chat window will pop out and you can connect with our staff.
