REALTORS Care® Award winner honoured with BC Medal of Good Citizenship
The provincial government recently honoured 2022 REALTORS Care® Award recipient Crystal Hung with the BC Medal of Good Citizenship.
Hung and 17 others received their medals from Premier David Eby in a Canada Day ceremony. The BC Medal of Good Citizenship celebrates individuals who have acted in a generous, kind or selfless manner for the betterment of their communities, without expectation of reward. It’s the province’s second-highest honour.
Crystal is a REALTOR® and Broker with Icon&co Boutique Inc. She was recognized for co-founding Pixel Moments, a successful micro-donation platform that’s inspired younger generations to raise more than $400,000 since 2021.
She personally donated $1 million to the UBC Sauder Powerhouse Expansion Project where she sits on various fundraising and leadership committees. She also co-founded the Chinese Cultural Preservation Federation Society, partners with All Nations Outreach Society to serve meals in the Downtown Eastside, and is a Heritage Commissioner for the City of Vancouver.
