This year, Greater Vancouver REALTORS® saw many transformations and new business initiatives designed to make it easier for you to run your business.

Here’s just a  few of the initiatives your association executed in 2025.

1. Self-serve upgrades in My Profile

Keeping your professional details up to date is easier than ever.

Members can now edit bios, languages, and specialties directly in My Profile, with updates syncing to REALTOR.ca within 24 hours.

This improvement gives you more control over your online presence and saves time waiting for administrative updates.

3. Data-sharing agreement with BCFSA

This year marked a major step forward in regulatory collaboration.

A new data-sharing agreement between GVR and the BC Financial Services Authority (BCFSA) streamlines compliance for managing brokers by securely transferring residential transaction data.

As a result, all GVR member brokerages and managing brokers are exempt from the regulator’s 2026 residential Data Call for transactions in the GVR board area, reducing duplication and freeing up valuable time.

GVR’s Service Re-imagined transformation continued in 2025, blending technology with personalized service.

The new Engagement Centre brings MLS®, Help Desk, and Member Relations together under one system, making it easier to reach the right team quickly.

Case tracking ensures consistent, timely responses so you can get answers faster and focus on your clients.

GVR also launched several new partnerships designed to make your day-to-day operations smoother and more efficient:

  • Payload offers secure, real-time digital payment solutions for trust deposits and commissions.
  • TELUS provides exclusive member and home buyer pricing on mobility, saving you and your clients money.
  • Canada Post gives members preferred rates and tools for marketing mail.

Each partnership was chosen to deliver practical value, save time, and help Realtors strengthen client relationships.

Looking ahead

This year was a year of transformation, focused on smarter systems, stronger partnerships, and better member experiences.

As GVR moves into 2026, work continues on digital enhancements, expanded account support, and new opportunities to help members thrive in a changing market.

Your professional association is evolving with one clear goal: to make it easier for you to focus on what matters most: your clients and your success.
