BCREA July 2025 Standard Forms update: Access new resources

The BC Real Estate Association (BCREA) released a new form and a series of standard forms updates in July. This is an extraordinary release from their usual update schedule that seeks to minimize disruption to your day-to-day workflow.
BCREA released the July 2025 Standard Forms Launch Package on July 9. This resource contains:
- watermarked versions of the revised forms highlighting changes
- guides on how to use the new and updated forms
- summaries of all revisions
Here’s BCREA’s summary of what’s changing.
Revisions to the Property Disclosure Form (PDS)
Updates to the information page will include additions to:
- Highlight the preferred approach of making disclosures and the risks associated with blank, incomplete, or partially completed PDS forms
- Guide sellers to discuss their disclosure requirements with their REALTOR® and to use the new Property No-Disclosure Statement if they choose not to make voluntary disclosures
There will also be a new disclaimer emphasizing that any voluntary disclosures made in a PDS are accurate at the date of disclosure and may not reflect current conditions.
New form: The Property No-Disclosure Statement
This new form has been created for scenarios where a seller, acting in good faith, chooses not to provide voluntary disclosures.
Updated form name: REALTORS®’ Disclosure of Material Latent Defects
This form's name was updated from “Seller’s Disclosure of Material Latent Defects” to “REALTORS®’ Disclosure of Material Latent Defects”.
The form will also include a new seller acknowledgement to confirm the seller’s understanding of the Realtor’s disclosure obligations and grant authorization for the Realtor to make such disclosures.
