Travelling abroad? Plan ahead to avoid access issues

If you're planning to travel outside North America, please note that some of GVR's online services, including Paragon MLS®, may not be accessible abroad due to security practices.
This isn’t a new policy. These security measures have been in place since 2019 to help protect sensitive client and member data.
Prepare before you travel
Many issues can happen when you’re travelling that can affect your ability to access key GVR tools that you use to service your clients.
Especially if you’re leaving North America, we highly recommend you coordinate with a colleague who may be able to assist you while you’re away.
For example, if you need Paragon access while away, consider making plans with colleague or team member who can assist you from Canada using "Assume Identity".
This feature allows a licensed assistant or team member to log in and work in Paragon on your behalf without sharing credentials.

What countries are affected?
While Paragon is generally accessible across the world, it works best within North America.
Outside of North America, you may experience service inconsistencies due to security measures, local restrictions, or connectivity issues.
Why do we restrict access?
As part of a wider cybersecurity infrastructure, country-level restrictions in nations flagged by Canadian and US authorities for security risks is a best practice common across the real estate and financial industries. These restrictions also help us, and our vendors, comply with privacy laws.
