Paragon’s Associated Documents tab is one of the most important areas of an MLS® listing. This is where you’ll load critical documents, some of which are required by the Rules of Cooperation, to enhance the listing information available to other members.

Depending on the type of property you’re listing, some examples of the documents you’d post in Associated Documents include:

  • Title searches
  • Strata documents (registered strata plans, depreciation reports)
  • Floor plans/site plans
  • Special notices and considerations
  • Commercial documents (inventory lists, brochures, reports)
  • A photo of the CSA or BC Electrical Inspection label for Manufactured/Modular/Park Model homes (part of the new Rules of Cooperation amendments coming August 1)

Don’t use copyrighted images in your listings

Please remember to never use copyrighted images in your listing photos. Using someone’s content without their permission is against the law. It’s also not ethical and it’s a breach of Article 28 of the REALTOR® Code of Ethics to take others’ ideas, content, and/or trade assets and pass them off as your own.

An example of this would be for a member to violate the terms of another real estate website by scraping content and posting this content to their own website without the owner’s permission. This includes using listing photographs from a previous listing, per Rules of Cooperation, Rule 3.25.
