GVR has over 900 commercial members, many of whom are among the nearly 1,600 REALTORS® across BC using the Commercial Broadcast Email Service (CBES).  

In 2025, more emails were sent through the CBES than ever before. There were over 5.5 million requests sent, resulting in over 5.7 million opens and nearly 3.4 million unique opens! 

Here are the key rules and tips for using the CBES: 

• Messages must be related to commercial real estate, meaning it must have five or more units and/or have immediate commercial potential. 
• When sending a “have” email, choose the region where the listing is located. 
• When sending a “want” email, choose all regions of interest that apply. 
• Unless there’s an integral change to your ‘have’ or ‘want’ email, don’t resend the same email within a six-month period – no one likes spam!
