Three new ways we’re making it easier to reach us in 2026
So far this year, Greater Vancouver REALTORS® (GVR) has introduced three new service upgrades designed to help you get answers faster and with fewer steps.
From smarter phone routing to a streamlined SentriLock application and live webchat, each improvement is part of our Service Re-Imagined initiative — a broader effort to modernize how your professional association supports you.
Here’s what’s new.
Skill-based phone routing is now live
Calling GVR just got easier.
As of February 5, our new AI-assisted phone routing system is in place. Instead of navigating multiple menus or being transferred between teams, you can now say, in your own words, why you’re calling.
The system uses natural language technology to understand your request and connect you directly to the right Member Engagement Centre specialist.
While all of our specialists can help with most questions, some inquiries are best handled by someone with specific expertise. This upgrade helps get you to that person sooner.
The goal isn’t to replace human connection. It’s to make it easier to reach the right human, faster.
A new, streamlined SentriLock application
As part of Service Re-Imagined, we’ve also introduced a simpler way to apply for a SentriLock lockbox app account.
As of January 20, you can find a new SentriLock application form under the subscriptions section of the updated “My Profile” area on the member website.
The new online form is more intuitive and reduces unnecessary steps, making it easier to get set up and start using SentriKey without delays.
If you need access to SentriLock, you no longer have to navigate multiple pages or processes. Everything is centralized within your member profile.
Webchat is now available on the member site
On February 10, we launched a new webchat service within member.gvrealtors.ca, giving you another way to connect with us during office hours, Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm.
Sometimes picking up the phone isn’t an option. And email can take longer than you need.
Webchat is designed for general, non-account-related questions that don’t require identity verification.
For example, you can ask:
- How do I search for a specific property type in Paragon?
- How much does a course cost?
- Where can I find a specific form?
To start a chat:
- Log in to member.gvrealtors.ca
- Select “New Chat” at the bottom right-hand side of the screen
- Connect with the next available specialist
For account-specific questions, registration requests, or anything that requires identity verification, please continue to contact us by phone or email.

We’ll continue building on these improvements in the months ahead, including expanding webchat support to cover more of the reasons you contact us. We're also working on ways for members to connect with GVR via SMS text messaging - watch for more on this soon.
