After the tragic events at Vancouver’s Lapu Lapu Day festival last month, a group of Realtors from across the Lower Mainland came together to raise funds for those affected by the tragedy.

On May 31, these Realtors hosted the One Cause. One Heart. One Kapwa. fundraising event, raising $26,000 in one day.

The event included cultural performances, a memorial wall, karaoke, local cuisine, face painting, and more - all in the spirit of healing and unity.

But there’s still more work to do.

Some of the families affected by the tragedy are still navigating life-changing injuries, extended hospital stays, and the mental effects of the day.

This is where Realtors can step up.

If every member gave just $15 to $20, we could reach our $100,000 goal. That kind of collective action would give these families the urgent support they need to recover.
