Here are our top 10 highlights!

Over 1,600 REALTORS® and real estate professionals came together

From across BC and Canada, more than 1,600 professionals gathered under one roof for PacificWest 2025 — co-hosted by Greater Vancouver REALTORS® (GVR) and the Fraser Valley Real Estate Board (FVREB) on October 21–22 at the Vancouver Convention Centre. The energy was unmistakable as the profession’s best connected, learned, and shared ideas that will shape the future of real estate.

A powerful opening performance

The conference began with a stunning performance by award-winning Indigenous singer-songwriter Tia Wood, whose voice and artistry set a tone of inspiration, connection, and pride in culture.

Keynotes that inspired and informed

The stage was alive with thought-provoking insights.

Jake Karls and the Mid-Day Squares team shared their bold journey of building a brand through authenticity and storytelling — reminding us all of the power of being unapologetically ourselves.

Althia Raj, award-winning journalist, captivated the crowd with a deep dive into the state of Canadian politics and an engaging audience Q&A.

A leadership panel featuring the chairs of GVR, FVREB, the BC Real Estate Association (BCREA), and the Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA) — moderated by CREA CEO Janice Myers — offered an insider’s look at each organization’s strategic priorities and the future of organized real estate.

Packed sessions, practical learning

Across more than 30 sessions and 80 speakers, attendees dove into topics like AI prompt engineering, multiplex zoning, building and selling strategies, and time management for professionals. Every room was buzzing with curiosity and conversation.

Our biggest trade show yet

With over 100 booths, this year’s trade show was the largest in PacificWest history — and it stayed busy from start to finish. Attendees explored the latest products, tech, and services designed to support REALTORS® and their clients.

New: Managing Brokers Summit

Before the main event, over 200 managing brokers gathered on October 20 for a full day of learning and dialogue at the inaugural Managing Brokers Summit, sponsored by BCREA. The sessions offered actionable strategies and peer-driven discussion on the real challenges brokers face every day.

New: Connect Social

Also new this year — and a sell-out success — was the Connect Social, a high-energy speed networking event that brought together top professionals over engaging activities, conversations, and cocktails.

The welcome party that raised the bar (again)

Each year’s welcome party feels impossible to top, yet 2025 delivered once more. This time, guests stepped into an eclectic music festival experience — complete with live entertainment, games, food, performances, and even a mechanical bull. It was the perfect way for professionals to unwind and celebrate another successful PacificWest.
