REALTOR® Ken Ambrose passed away in July. He was 76.

Ken was born in Vancouver and raised in Burnaby. He began his career as a Realtor in 1989. In 2005, his wife, Jane, joined him to form the Ambrose Real Estate Group. They served home buyers and sellers in the Ridge Meadows and Tri-Cities areas for 20 years with distinction and integrity.

Professionalism was a calling card for Ken. With real estate in his veins, he was a proud advocate of continuing education. He believed that staying up to date on how to serve and protect clients was the key to delivering top-quality service. He was quick to offer advice and mentorship to newer Realtors, often becoming fast friends in the process.

"Ken also gave back to his profession through his volunteer work with GVR. He was a division director and vice-president and served on GVR’s Professional Conduct Committee for many years. "

Outside of real estate, Ken was a dedicated family man and a beloved father and grandfather. Christmas was his favourite time of year, and he loved cheering on his grandsons at their soccer games or playing in the pool with his granddaughter.

Ken is survived by his wife Jane; his children, Jennifer (Dan) and Shawn (Siva); and his grandchildren, Austin, Ryan and Georgia. He was also a beloved doggie daddy to Sarah and Jordie and leaves behind many extended family members and countless friends and colleagues.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Ken's memory to the BC Cancer Foundation – Pancreatic Cancer Research.
